The landscape format gives the cloudy sky more room above the Dome of the Rock. The golden dome sits slightly to the right, while the lines of the building run along the lower part, so the view feels open. The relationship between architecture, clouds and light is the main subject of this version. The Palestinian landmark remains the centre, but the scene feels like a wider view of Jerusalem.
