The design uses the silhouette of a map of Palestine as its main shape. Inside it sits the Dome of the Rock, with red, green, white and black that refer to the Palestinian flag. All the elements come together in one shape, so the message reads at once without a busy composition. The Dome of the Rock stands in the Al-Aqsa compound in Jerusalem, and the combination of landmark and map gives a simple visual reminder of Palestine.
It suits a living room, prayer room, bedroom or office, and carries a message of hope and care. It makes a meaningful gift for someone who wants a clean, symbolic piece of wall art about Palestine. Made to order, printed and framed by hand in solid pine, ready to hang.
