Ethereal Flow is built from coral and sage green layers that pass through one another like thin cloth or coloured mist. Fine contour lines flow across the top and suggest a map of a landscape, yet the forms stay abstract enough to remain open to interpretation. The piece moves very slowly. Its transparency gives depth without any hard edge, so it never feels heavy. The longer one looks, the more small connections appear between the layers. It suits a living room, a bedroom or a study, and it is a graceful gift for someone who enjoys art that rewards a second look.
